No Excuses Cycling is still growing, and as we grow so does the diversity within the group.

This Sunday night we welcomed two new members to our family, but not before putting them through a very hot and humid climbing ride.

NEC has made it customary that in order for you to be a member of the club you have to do what they call the Tour de Iwakuni, which is a 35km ride around Central Iwakuni, and once you reach the highest hill you will be given the jersey by one of the founders.

With that being said: We have never given jersey and seen people be as excited as these two were when they received theirs.

They were so happy they didn't hesitate once to just strip off their old jerseys and wear their new NEC jerseys on their way back to base.

We had them climb the Hospital Hill due to Michelle's background as a surgical tech.

After multiple rides and proving themselves an asset to the group I am more than happy to extend Michelle and Blake a warm welcome to our little family!

May you continue helping us share the love for cycling!
