The start of Spring in Japan is definitely a sight for sore eyes.
Before their famous cherry blossoms, we have a bunch of colorful Ume (Plum) Blossoms start blooming in just every corner you turn to. Last year I remember going to the Kanmuriyama Park in Hikari, about an hour away from Iwakuni and there was an Ume Matsuri (Plum Festival) going on, so this year I invited the Landin's to new sights to see so that they could enjoy the beauty of this park.
Unfortunately for us there weren't as many trees as I would've liked there to be, so I just took a crazy amount of pictures of them because: why not?
When we got there the first place we visited was the playground.
And then we got to the ume!
